The Impossible Exam
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1-4 WEB)
There was once a teacher who punished his badly-behaved class of students by giving them an examination full of the world’s hardest questions spanning across all subjects and disciplines.
“Class, if any of you want to be dismissed from class, you must get full marks in this exam. If not, you will have to stay back for detention every day. To give you all an advantage, you may discuss the questions with your fellow classmates.”
Everyone in the class attempted the exam, but even the smartest students had many mistakes. It seemed impossible.
The classmates were all frantically flipping through all the textbooks in the classroom, but it was no use. The questions were just way out of their level.
Just when it seemed that all hope was lost, the teacher said, “Class, I see that you are all trying your very best to work together to do well on the exam. Tell you what—I cannot cancel the exam, but I will join your class as a student and attempt the exam with you. There is no rule against me joining as a student in your class.”
Since the teacher had set the exam based on the knowledge he had, he easily answered all the questions correctly. To whoever wanted to refer to his answers, the teacher allowed them to see and write the same answers.
The students were all overjoyed. One by one, they copied the answers, and handed in their exam papers, scoring full marks. They were finally able to go home. They had learnt their lesson, and decided to be more studious in the future.
——
God gave the children of Israel the Ten Commandments—an impossible exam for mankind. The Law is perfect, holy, and good, but it was weak through man’s sinful flesh.
Whoever wants to be justified through the Law must keep the Ten Commandments perfectly in both word and deed. Anything short of perfection is considered unrighteous. Everyone fails this exam.
Then, God revealed His master plan: Yahweh the Son became a man to take the impossible exam on our behalf.
He lived a sinless life for thirty-three and a half years, and offered up Himself as our atoning sacrifice for sins. The blood He shed at the cross and His death perfectly fulfilled the Law for everyone.
Whoever wants to refer to His answers can just take His answers as their own and get full marks on their exam. When we place our faith in Jesus as Lord, we share in Jesus’ death, resurrection, and become a new creation in Christ. We are finally eligible to go home to our Abba God in Heaven!
It takes humility for a person to admit that he is a sinner that has no hope of deserving salvation by his own works. God is so holy that even one sinful thought can make you unrighteous. Perfection is needed. The way to be saved is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord!

2 nights ago, she almost slept through the night. Only woke up once at 2am. And then the next time was 6am. It was as close as through the night since she was born.
When i woke up at 8am, i was feeling so good about myself. I felt like i could conquer the world! With her night routine more or less established, i thought, it's time to start her on the day routine. I mean, if i could get the night right, I just need to replicate the same method for the day, then all will be perfect right?
N-O. NO!!
I tried to put her on a routine that day. Not only did she not follow it well (obviously not happening on Day 1), the night routine was in a mess too bcos she had slept too much that day. It completely backfired. She woke up 5 times that night. I cant remember when was the last night i looked in the mirror, but for some reason i did that night. I scared myself! Halloween came early! I couldn't recognise myself. But that thought lingered for only 2 secs before i moved on to what's more urgent at hand - a hysterical baby.
After all that hysterical crying, she drank in all abt 5mins before falling asleep again. Up for the 5th time that night, severely tired and bruised from the suckling, i lost patience. I know i shouldn't, but i got angry w her. I didn't scold her or do anything physical, but i was angry w her. I just couldn't wait to get it over and done w. I didn't enjoy her company and i wished that night didnt happen!
When i woke up the next morning. I felt sucky. I kept going back to that emotion. I kept questioning, Why did i get that upset with my own child? Then i realized, it was bcos i had expectations. I expected things to happen a certain way. Then i got disappointed when it didnt go according to my plan. Through this, Ive learnt a lesson. I need to soldier on with no expectations; It's a journey, it's an adventure. I should stay excited, stay curious and just go with the flow. Some days/nights are just tougher, then just survive and glad that we will always make it out alive.
We can do this, Mothers!

A long awaited bookshelf tour with a twist. I'm always ready for the next adventure and it's good to be prepared in the sense of not having too many books to take with you if you plan on moving overseas sometime. In any case, I'm also interested in minimalism, and cutting down on language books helps me focus on the languages and books I really need, letting go of the others that I may not have touched in years. This video is also somewhat of an archive for me to remember some of these books before I say goodbye to them.

LIFEPROOF FRE CASING GIVEAWAY BELOW
In Week 9, things didn't go as planned training wise, cause my glutes were still very very very sore from the EMS workout session. I'll admit it was very frustrating and this is why, my coach told me early on in the program, please don't do anything else outside of the training. So while I enjoyed a very plump butt for a whole week, I was a bit frust that i couldn't do my normal training. Not complaining, cause i'm seeing the benefits of adding EMS to my training cause it can help even more muscles get recruited. I'll need to plan this carefully.
I finally got down to meeting my posing coach. Very thankful to Sean from Befit who got me in contact with her. What was surprising and wonderful to me, was knowing that I have met her 11 years ago! We took part in another beauty and fitness competition conducted by Watsons years ago, where she won the Ms Fitness. She had an amazing body then and now! I was so impressed upon arrival she had drawn out the stage and my posing spots. We went through some simple poses and I got to understand how breathing is so important even while posing. My first official lesson will begin this week as I upload this vlog.
The week and weekend became even more hectic as shoots started to appear. I wasn't originally set out to do shoots till two weeks time, but not going to say no to an opportunity. Also taking these shots would be a good gauge so I can see where I'm at currently and what else do i need to improve on.
I made sure nutrition was completely on point, because I didn't want to end up craving carbs or anything thats not in my diet plan. Which means I had to ensure my protein and fats were up. It has become more expensive to eat more protein but thats the nature of this competition. I haven't even gone into the other supplements I require other than magnesium. The conclusion is that it's getting expensive, but im prepared for it.
Thanks for getting to the end of the Vlog and I did say i'll make it worthwhile so here's another GIVEAWAY!
